We’ll start with an initial conversation where we’ll chat about the ideal type of session for you and your family. Once we’ve settled on the session style, we’ll pick a date and time. Since light is one of the most important elements in photography, the session time will depend on the season. I recommend scheduling about 2 hours before sunset to capture that dreamy, soft, golden light!

Next, I’ll send you a contract, an initial invoice for the $150 non-refundable booking fee, and a questionnaire to gather all the details I need for our session.

Styling Made Simple
I’ll guide you through styling with my Style Guide PDF, which helps you create stunning outfit combinations for the whole family using items you already own—no shopping required! My goal is to keep things stress-free and easy for you.

I also offer access to my Client Closet, which features beautiful dresses for moms. These are available at no extra cost when you book a petite, full session, or package with me.

After Your Session
Once your session is complete, I will send you the invoice with the remaining balance and I’ll deliver your photos in a beautiful, high-resolution digital gallery. I take 2-3 weeks to carefully edit each photo, ensuring your memories are perfectly preserved. The gallery will be available online for 30 days, so be sure to download and save your images during that time.

My Photography Style
My style is colorful and timeless. My goal is for you to look at your photos 30 years from now and feel like they are still fresh and beautiful. That’s why I avoid trends and instead draw inspiration from classic film photography—think subtle fine grain, rich Kodak and Fujifilm-inspired tones, and elegant shallow depth of field.

I only use natural light because nothing compares to the magic of the sunlight we’re blessed with! The right light can create such incredible emotion, and I strive to incorporate that into your photos.

Posing and Moments
While I’ll guide and pose your family during the session, I also let natural moments unfold. Often, the most loved photos are the ones where kids are being themselves—running, laughing, and having fun—or when family members interact naturally. Those spontaneous, heartfelt moments are the ones that truly tell your family’s story.

At the end of the day, my goal is to document the beauty of your life, even the moments you may not have realized were so special. It’s an honor for me to create these timeless keepsakes for you to treasure and pass down for generations.
